In Episode 6, we spend the day in Garrison, Missouri. When we started the day, we weren't sure where the road would lead us, we only knew that we needed to get away. After a long week and a million things to do, it was time to get back to the quiet calm that we experience only in the wild.
We had ridden in Garrison a few months ago and decided it would be the perfect place to be away from everything and just spend time together. We drove down back roads and through small towns then arrived in Garrison. Our first stop was this incredible creek.
Connor and Clara could spend hours skipping rocks, searching for treasures, and wading in the water. This area is just a beautiful place to spend the day. When we got back into the Jeep, we started heading down the trails and roads in the national forest. We marked a campsite on Gaia for our next visit. We are excited to get back out here to explore even more!
On the way home from our excursion, we decided to stop at the home improvement store. We found a deal on indoor/outdoor carpet that we couldn't pass up. We drove home with this 12x18 foot roll of carpet hanging out our back window!
